Isn't it cute...
NO I did NOT make this. I found it thrifting... I had to get it, all I could think about was the hours someone put into it... December will tell if I can use it or not...

I found some treasures!!!
I went to a rummage sale and found 2 big boxes full of vintage patterns...
Here's a close up of just a few of the vintage ones. They cover 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's.
So can you guess how much I paid for 2 boxes???
$5.00 Pretty awesome huh!!! I plan to go through them with my dd's and keep what we want then we will be selling off the rest.
I also scored 6 knitted booties for FREE!!!
A friend was given them and the only thing wrong with them is that they are not sewn on the seam. That is all. She doesn't know how to do that and is past the baby times. So I get to keep them or give them away as I wish!!!! I have finished the pink and one set of yellow!
What have you found rummaging???

Baby Stuff
Thanks to a dear friend's gift I am now the happy owner of a baby swing. Ok this is my 7th baby and I have NEVER owned a swing for any of my babies. (well I sort of had one with dd 16, but it never quite worked right) I did a web search of the store where this certificate was good at ,trying to decide what to get and was so excited to find this portable one! (key smaller size and fold able!!!) But swings just like a big one.

A Felting we will go...
Ok I'm on the start of a New type of Project. I found these 100% wool sweaters at Goodwill. They will become fabric to make Little Lamby.
Thanks Mrs. Wilt for sharing that link!

Step 2 clean on very HOT temperature, my yarn shop suggested baking soda to help it shrink more by changing the ph. Then drying and airing out on the clothes line.
They are much much smaller now!

Step 3 Layout and cut your pattern.

Step 6 She is done! Isn't she a cutey!

Step 4 Hand sew your little lamb together. The directions are really easy to follow at the link below!
Step 5 She is almost done! I added her bow and felted flower. Now I just need to find my floss to sew cute little eyes and nose. You can use buttons but this is a toy for the new baby. (Due in February)
Step 6 She is done! Isn't she a cutey!
I am planning to use the cream for her body, the lilac for a flower at her neck and the green for the leaves!
Not sure what other projects I will make with the fabric.
Maybe these...
And I have to thank my dear friends
For inspiring me! Thanks Ladies!
